The main idea of this chapter will be similarities between the cambric explosion of animal species about 600 million years ago and the imminent creation of social organisms made up of computers and humans.

For almost 3 billion years, life on earth had consisted mainly of sluggish plants and various form of unicellular beings. It is not yet clear why about 600 million years ago life began to burst into a new era with the rapid evolution of multicellular animals.    
The atmosphere`s constitution and the chemical make-up of the ocean water are two suspected parameters.    
It will soon be argued on this site that it was the invention of the nerve cell that enabled life on earth to take another leap on the ladder of complexity.
